Learning Session Application Form - United Ways of California

Thank you for your interest in becoming a learning session speaker at the 2024 United Way Western Regional Conference! We greatly appreciate you being willing to share your knowledge and expertise with the United Way network. A learning session is a breakout session that will last 75 minutes in one of six breakout rooms we have reserved for the conference. There will be 30 learning sessions offered, and all sessions must focus on our common United Way work around community impact, resource development, equity, professional development, disaster preparedness, 211 adoption and more. In 2022, we received over 80 applications so this will be a highly competitive process, and final selections will be made by our planning committee.

The deadline to submit a speaker application is Friday, May 10, 2024 at 5:00 PM PST. Unfortunately, United Ways of California will not be able to offer any honorariums or speaker registration discounts for the 2024 United Way Western Regional, and no priorities will be given for hotel bookings. Hotel availability is on a first come, first serve basis for all registrants.

Our national planning committee will announce the final selection of learning sessions and their respective date and time slots by Friday, May 24, 2024. We kindly ask that before submitting an application that you verify final session language with any co-presenters (including spelling and grammar), confirm co-presenters’ availability to fully participate, and collect all speaker information below including profile photos. We are presuming that the first contact listed below will be the lead presenter, and the primary organizer of the session.
