Paola N. Hernandez is the Director of Impact and Business Intelligence at United Ways of California. In this role, Paola is responsible for working with our data team for assessing overall social impact and strategizing effective programming for our team, as well as our network.

Paola graduated at the top of her class from Columbia University’s School for International and Public Affairs in 2018 with a master’s degree in public policy. As a development specialist, she has dedicated her career to advocacy efforts for communities that are often marginalized and overlooked. Paola has worked with various organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UpTogether, to advocate for equal rights and improved social services for low-income families, undocumented immigrants and ethnic minorities.
