Mandy Nand is the Associate Director of Economic Mobility of United Ways of California. She helps support free tax prep programs across the state. She is committed to helping support organizations and community members to help make tax credits and free tax prep more accessible.

Mandy graduated with a master’s degree in education from Sacramento State University. During her time there she focused her studies and efforts on combating ACES through social emotional learning, civic engagement and advocacy.

Mandy has worked on various projects with organizations that focus on building partnerships within the community. Her career has taken her to a variety of communities including: the SF Bay Area, South Korea, India, rural Alaska and the Sacramento region. She is passionate about helping create community change by making systems changes and helping families across California become financially stable. She is based in West Sacramento, California and lives with her husband, son and dog Dolly. In her spare time she enjoys time camping, walks with her dog Dolly, and a never ending list of house projects.
