We know being a caregiver can be overwhelming. That’s why we’re here to provide support and resources to individuals who care for loved ones unable to care for themselves.
This Caregiver Support program is in Partnership with United Way Worldwide and AARP. United Ways of California in partnership with United Way Worldwide and AARP are focused on caregiver support to walk alongside caregivers in their role of providing care.
Are you a Caregiver?
Caregivers are individuals who provide support and care to their loved ones who are unable to care for themselves. These individuals may not even recognize themselves as caregivers, but their role is critical to ensuring their loved ones receive the care they need.
Types of support that caregivers might provide can include transportation to appointments, managing finances and expenses, and assisting with daily activities like meal preparation and medication management.
Our Commitment to Caregivers
United Ways of California is committed to providing caregivers guidance and assistance throughout their journey. Through our partnership with United Way Worldwide and AARP, we provide caregivers access to various caregiver support resources to ensure that no caregiver has to navigate their role alone.
Our mission is to walk alongside caregivers in providing care, empowering them with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions and access available support services. We recognize the vital role caregivers play in society and are dedicated to making a positive impact on their lives.
