211 Special Projects Manager

Zuleima Flores-Abid is the 211 Special Projects Manager for United Ways of California. In her role, Zuleima helps to advance the goals of the 211 Operating Partnership by managing and implementing collaborative projects such as Cell-Ed Cal Grows Program, Epic App Orchard Collaborative, California 211 Shared Data Repository, among other special projects.

Previously, Zuleima worked as the Director of Community Impact at United Way of San Joaquin County where she worked to engage and mobilize diverse populations across the county through advocacy and programming. During her time in San Joaquin, Zuleima worked closely with the local 211 provider- Family Resource Center. Through their collaboration in the San Joaquin County Connected Communities Network (CCN), they were able to service over 4,000 community members and get them connected to social services. In addition to CCN, Zuleima worked on various initiatives focused on financial mobility, housing, homelessness, and health equity.
