Jafet Diego serves as the Economic Mobility Program Manager at United Ways of California, overseeing MyMoneyPath.org and supporting free tax preparation and CalEITC programmatic work, including MyFreeTaxes.org. She has a strong background in community organizing and engagement, having spent five years working alongside parents to advocate for educational equity and justice in Los Angeles.
An active member of her community, Jafet has led grassroots initiatives focused on increasing civic and political participation, including voter engagement efforts in Whittier. She holds a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from Whittier College.
